Total beach VIBE! Hours are kind of weird but OMG SOOOO GOOD ! From the dough to sauce to Italian seasonings.... You won’t be disappointed! We had a 14in Queens Pizza and it was more than enough to feed 2. Also the breadsticks dough was amazing!!! I have lived here a year and we can never align in hours to try it! Have had Cricos, Papa Rocco’s and NOPE this is the spot! What a hidden gem!!! Also, Service was spectacular! Thank you!!!! Well I would another review but it only allows me one last night we caught them at close 10pm and they let us order the calzone and breadsticks are please support our local pizza place vs corporate world!
So, I was a bit sceptical based on recently reviews and also the owners response to past reviews however I thought I would give it a shot. We were staying in Crystal Towers and decided to get pizza so we went to Janico's pizza. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was roughy 21.00. I wouldn't say the pizza was anything crazy amazing but it also was not bad by any means. I had a slice along and our little guy had 2 slices. If you are in the area and would like pizza I would give them a shot regardless of the past reviews. I know that some businesses have has a hard time getting decent staff so maybe that was the issue? If you are in the area looking for pizza I'd give them a try.
Fast, friendly, delicious! Ordered a cheese only, sauce on the side for my little guy with masto. Would be worth it at 25... but the fact that it wasn’t made it even better. We will make this our regular spot now. Thanks!!

SOOOO GOOD! One of the best tasting pizza’s I’ve ever had! Every trip to Gulf Shores I will definitely be ordering! The manhattan & brooklyn are sooo good! *drools*
Absolutely delicious pizza. Tried there wings for the first time, they were also very good. Employees are super friendly. My family and I eat here at least once every visit on our vacation to Gulf Shores. Usually on a night like the 4th where the wait times at most restaurants are crazy. I'd highly recommend giving Janino's a try if you anywhere near.
When staying on west end of beach road there aren't many options, if you don't want to get in traffic this is one of my favorite options - eat there often. It is takeout only so call ahead (dining area closed for pandemic maybe before but really was primarily takeout). Pizza is thin crisp crust the sauce is good and not overloaded. They have a lot of topping choices. An upside and something families don't realize until too late is that it is way easier than dressing up to take a tired family (kids especially) that spent the day in sun out to eat risking 2hr wait... call Janino, pick up pizza and eat in condo or poolside. Less stress/hassle help vacation go smoothly. Recent trip, 2025, the pizza is tasty and still highly recommend.
We spent the week in Gulf Shores and had Janino's twice and both times, the pizza was really good. I'm typically not a fan of a thicker crust but theirs wasn't bad at all.
